Academic Flight provides flight training and aerospace education based on a test pilot approach. We use flight test methods as cockpit teaching tools to instruct advanced pilots and those who aspire to become. We offer multi-engine training, upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT), aerobatics, spin training, tailwheel, emergency maneuver training, CFI/MEI training, and more. One of our signature courses is the turnback maneuver after engine failure after takeoff.

We also instruct in gliders and fly helicopters. At the time of writing, seaplane instruction is available only in owner supplied aircraft. We also gladly offer primary flight training and instrument instruction, and our expertise in advanced areas passes down into these forms of basic flight instruction to produce particularly well trained new pilots.

Our interactive online ground school caters to customers worldwide and includes preparation for the oral portion of FAA practical tests as well as courses on upset recovery and theory from test pilot school textbooks.
